The ClubsNSW Academy Games is an initiative of the Regional Academies of Sport New South Wales Incorporated (RASi) supported by principal partner ClubsNSW. RASi is made up of member bodies from the Regional Academy Network. It is expected approx. 900+ athletes; coaches and team officials from eleven (11) NSW Academies and invited interstate Academies will participate in nine sports.
Friday 7th April: Scholastic Sports Stadium, Terrigal (following the Opening Ceremony) Commencing 7:00pm
Saturday 8th April: Scholastic Sports Stadium, Terrigal
Sunday 9th April: Scholastic Sports Stadium, Terrigal and Central Coast Adventist School

Each team will play in a round robin format over the 3 days of competition in both the boys and girls divisions, the round robin will act as a semi final seeding’s. A point score will be recorded to determine the positioning of the teams at the end of the rounds (positions 1 to 8).
Semi finals and grand finals will be played. (Round placing will determine Semi Final match up – 1 v 4 & 2 v 3 – winners advance to Grand Final. Bronze medal game to be played by semi final losing teams. A play-off for 5th and 6th and also 7th and 8th placing will occur to allow extra games for teams.
Age Group & Eligibility:
To be eligible to compete at the 2016 ClubsNSW Academy Games basketball athletes must be eligible to play in Basketball NSW sanctioned events in the U14 or U16 competition in Waratah Junior Leagues including: Eastern (EJL), Western (WJL), Northern (NJL), Southern (SJL), Metro (MJL) or Country Premier League (CPL) in 2016.
• Boys: Eight - CCAS, NIAS, SSA, HAS, SWSAS, NCAS, WRAS, IAS
• Girls: Eight - CCAS, NIAS, SSA, HAS, SWSAS, NCAS, WRAS, IAS
Approximate athletes: 160
Host Academy: Central Coast Academy of Sport
